1. Consideration for others
Every skier must always behave in such a way that they do not endanger or harm anyone else.
2. Control of speed and driving style
Every participant on the slopes must adapt their speed and driving style to their ability and the terrain and weather conditions.
3. Choice of lane
The skier approaching from behind must choose their lane in such a way that they do not endanger skiers in front of them.
4. Overtaking
Overtaking is permitted from above or below, from the right or left, but always only with a distance that leaves the overtaken skier room for all his movements.
5. Obligations of the lower and the crossing skier
Every skier entering a downhill run or traversing a ski area must first check uphill and downhill to ensure they can do so without endangering themselves or others. The same applies after every stop.
The FIS piste rules

8. Pay attention to the signs
Every skier must observe the signs (markings and information signs) on the downhill runs.
9. Behavior in case of accidents
In the event of an accident, everyone is obligated to provide assistance.
10. Obligation to carry identification in case of accidents
Reporting the accident: Everyone, whether witness or involved, whether responsible or not, must provide their personal details in the event of an accident.
